Just another Christmas

I could really just skip Christmas this year. Not prepared for it - not in the mood for it and getting excited about our cruise to Mexico with Lynsie and Kendall on Jan 3rd!
Lynsie and John are turning out to be a great couple!
We have had the house at the lake in our name for a year now. I love being up there and hope we can continue to spend lots of time there!

Happy Birthday to ME

WOW! What a great birthday party! Once again all my friends and I partied the night away and from what I can remember ~~ IT WAS A GREAT TIME!!
Of course I had my moments on my mom's birthday but I am starting to cope a bit better. I miss her EVERY DAY! I want her back. I still have so many questions and need her advice about so many things.
My dad - well, he is not making points with me but he is not here much anyway. He comes home for about 3 weeks and then returns to Kansas. I feel like I have lost both my parents.

Summer Fun

This 4th of July was so great! Kendall and Scott came to the lake. Then this guy, John, that Lynsie has her eye on at work - came up too. We had a blast!! It felt so good to have everyone at the house..like the good ole days!!

Time Flys

I cannot believe it is almost April. Life is busy and things are going well. I miss my mom daily and my dad has been gone for 3 months in Kansas. He will only be home a few weeks and then he and Shirley are hitting the road again. Not looking forward to meeting her but it has to happen at some point.

New Year, New Outlook!

I made it through the Holidays and my mom's 1 year date of death anniversary. My Aunt Lee passed away and the funeral was on the date of death of my mom. It was not an easy day. It was also Tony's birthday. 3 o'clock was our cut off of bad to good. The rest of this year has been great !! We are looking forward to all the new changes coming our way. We bought the house at the lake. We are investing a lot of time going to all the SHARKS games! Lynsie is happy at work at Fremont Ford and doing well in school.
