Well - Happy New Year's Eve. I have no plans and feel blah
anyway. Too much I want to do and NEVER enough time
to do it all! Maybe I should make that a resolution - NAH!
I know better.
Well I am going to start this new "project" with my friend
Tammy and I look forward to it. I know it will be lots of fun.
I hope it will bring us closer. It is called Project 365/2009.
Our blog is not done yet but will be up and running soon!
So stop by there and check us out. The idea of the project
is to post a new pic of anything and blog about it each
day. Still working on all the details.
Well tah tah for now!

Well Christmas is finally over! We all had a nice day. It
was the smallest Christmas in the history of my family!
But it was being with family that mattered the most ....
oh bullshit! .... lol ....... I'll be honest - I was happy
to get my Circle-E Candles and my Starbucks card!
I do wish I would have had more time to call people
and chat. I miss Dana and Tammy!
OH!! We went out for dinner on Christmas night. none
of us wanted to cook! And is SUCKED!! Dinner was
terrible! the service was terrible and our new tradition
is going to be ordering pizza on odd years and Chinese
on even years!!
Well off to watch Dark Night and Mamma Mia!

Our Cruise to Mexico!!

Our drink waiter - and Lynsie future husband (wishful thinking! on her part)

Well - I am back! I had a great time on my Mexico cruise! The weather was perfect - not too hot! Did lots of shopping and my husband even surprised with me some BLING!!
Our first stop in Puerto Vallarta was great! We rented a Jeep and took a tour through the town and the back roads - places I would never think of going on our own. It was run down and yet the people that live that way are happy. And that is really all that matters. We stopped at a Tequila Factory - OF COURSE!! and even my daughter got to have some - she did not like it and her face showed it! LOL Our last stop was at an exclusive restaurant right on the beach where we had dinner at sunset! Good food and beautiful scenery!
One of our towel animals!

another one of our towel animals - we got a different animal each night!

ON JEEP TOUR!
Lynsie tasting Tequila at the factory:
And how did she like it ?? ..... YUCK!!

Then next day we went to Mazatlan. It was a busy day. Shopping and walking and more walking !! Had lunch at Senor Frogs! WHAT A BLAST THAT WAS!! That is also the port where Tony bought some jewelry!!!
MY BLING - the pic does not do it justice!

Then our next stop was Cabo San Lucas!
Sunrise from my room pulling in to Cabo San Lucas

The whole reason for this trip was so Tony could go to Sammy Hagar's bar - Cabo Wabo! And we did! We all (even my 17 yr old girls) did a shot of Tequila and took some pics!

At the start of this trip one thing Tony and my daughter wanted to do was go Para-sailing. Ya know the parachute thing behind a boat - way up in the air! OVER THE OCEAN AND SHARKS AND STUFF! I am scared of heights - I don't even like to stand on the upper level at the mall and look down! And my daughter's friend that came with us is the same way! So what happens... first thing off the boat on the pier Tony finds some guy and says HEY - where can we Para-sail? And of course the guy point us right to the para-sail guys. They were all over us!! And before I could object - I was on the boat! We get out on the water and then they tell us that my husband and I CANNOT go together! I freaked out - started crying and said NO WAY! I am not doing this ALONE! The deal was we would go together and the girls would go together. But cuz it was so early in the day there was not enough wind to put us up high enough - finally the guy said that if I went with one of the girls it would be ok! So - my daughter (LITTLE MS COURAGE) put her arm around me and said come on mom let's do this!! And I said OK!!! We were strapped in and off we went! I could not believe I was doing this and within 2 minutes I was smiling and laughing and loving it!! It was calm - peaceful and beautiful! I loved it and would totally do it again! Then it was Tony's turn with Nisha to go with him! I told her how great it was. I think she smiled as much as I did !!! We all loved it and all would do it again!

Now it is back to reality - work - and OH YEAH ! CHRISTMAS! Not to mention the 100th birthday party that we are throwing for Tony's grandmother this weekend. Family will be here in a few days and we have to finish up the final stages of party planning.

Well my daughter has a minor surgery tomorrow. She is having a screw taken out of her knee from the last ACL surgery she had. A lot for only being seventeen.
Last night we went out for our Christmas company dinner. It is the one time every year she gets to dress up like a prom queen - except prom of course.

Zee and her best friend since pre-school.

Saturday we shove off for our cruise to Mexico. I am looking forward to relaxing and some quiet time - not sure I will actually get it though.

GOOD NEWS!!
Well first off let me just say that for my 40th birthday present I was told by my dr that I have skin cancer. It was then removed and another was found. Then it was removed and yet another was found. Then one on my face and I had a plastic surgeon remove that one. =} I went though this cycle for 2 years every 3 - 6 months. Well Sept was the two year anniversary of the first one and I went in for my body check a few weeks ago - and like every other time - she found something that she thought was worth checking... HERE WE GO AGAIN! ={
Well I got the results in the mail - normally she calls me - and this time for the FIRST time in 2 years it is NEGATIVE! Not cancer! I hate to even be excited in fear that a new one will sprout and take away my good feeling!! LOL
But for now I will continue to stay out of the sun and stay covered up and wear my sunscreen like a good lil girl. Now watch me forget to pack it when I leave for my cuise to Mexico in about 15 days!
I truely have something to be THANKful for !

Well - I am getting excited about our cruise to Mexico in 19 days!
First I have to get through Thanksgiving! This will be the first
time in my life that I won't be at our mountain home, waiting
for it to snow and cutting our own Christmas tree out in the
forest. It is an all day adventure and lots of fun! This year being
my daughter has a new job (she is only 17) she cannot take
time off work and there is no way we would leave her home
alone on Thanksgiving! So the whole family is staying here and
not sure what we will do about a tree. I am bummed about it
but I am sure it will all still be a good time.
Last year at this time my best friend (that I met on Myspace)
came to visit with her kids and we had a great time! Dana,
I wish you could be here again!
Right after Thanksgiving - my daughter is having knee surgery
to have a screw removed from the ACL surgery she had 4 years
ago. And the next day we leave on the cruise!
We all knew she had a screw loose!
Have a great Sunday. Tah Tah for now.

Howdy! Well this is the only rest I am going to get all day. Starting about 2pm today I have to start getting things ready for our 15th Annual Pumpkin Carving Party. We have so many people that come that we have to do it on two days so there is room for everyone.
I will post some pics from the parties in a day or two.
